Current Election News - Qualifying

 

The qualifying period for the 2015 Fall Primary Election to be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 will begin Tuesday September 8th, 2015 through Thursday, September 10th, 2015.
Hours for qualifying are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Persons interested in qualifying for the below offices shall qualify at the Clerk of Court’s office in Amite, LA:

If candidate is not a member of a recognized party he/she only pays the amount in qualifying fee column.

The qualifying fee shall be paid in cash or by certified or cashier’s check on a state or national bank or credit union, United States postal money order, or a money order issued by a state or national bank or credit union.

Please bring identification when qualifying.
