QUALIFYING for November 05, 2024
Presidential Election:


QUALIFYING DATES

July 17-19, 2024
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day

Persons interested in qualifying for the below listed offices shall qualify at the Clerk of Court’s office in Amite, LA


Candidate Office Titles:

  • Judge, 21st Judicial District Court, Division L
  • Town of Amite: Mayor, Chief of Police, Council Members
  • Town of Roseland: Mayor, Chief of Police, Aldermen
  • Village of Tangipahoa: Mayor, Chief of Police, Aldermen

Qualifying Fees:
***If candidate is not a member of a recognized party (Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, Green, and Independent) he/she only pays the amount in the qualifying fee column.***

The qualifying fee shall be paid in cash or by certified or cashier’s check on a state or national bank or credit union, United States Postal Money order, or money order issued by a state or national bank or credit union.

Valid identification is required when qualifying.
